izicathulo zisesitolo = the shoes are at/ in the store.

NOT umkhulane = fever, cold, flew

BUT: umkhuhlane = fever, cold, flu

ngedwa = I (me)alone/ only

ngingedwa = I am alone

with y- for nouns with i-
ng- for others as in : ngamazinyo (by teeth); ngumkhuhlane (by flu)
